I think theres a difference bewteen internet issue and DDOS.

Maybe you have bad internet and is not really a DDOS attack? Who knows? Valve tend to connect you to servers from like China or Latin america...

This has been an on going issue and we know the cause. Iv'e been a target to these basement dwelling clowns.
My internet is fine but after a few mins on any official server everyone will be affected with connection issues. Not an issue on local however.

set your profile to private or invisible and try again

try setting up a bind that changes your name and spam it during load / transition screens

servers are fine I'm pretty sure its just people on a list being targeted

our steamgroup has 24/7/365 d-dos protection & mitigation.
sure, it's a modded server that runs only 1 mod, an rpg, and that's not for everyone, but it's 100% safe from the people doing these attacks.

I cannot for the life of me play L4D2. I always get 60-80 ping, but since the servers are ♥♥♥♥♥♥ its acting like im on 200-400 ping
