to prevent it, you must have bile to smoothly pass that event, but there will be people from one of the teams who just throw bile like they don't need it.
All it does is spam pointlessly large hordes in an area that was clearly not designed for it, without any logical reason or indication for it being endless.
The buggy saferoom, with unfair tank/witch spawns, and common infected spawning right behind your back, further paint the picture that the event was not actually tested.
The fact that the most common strategy is "Hold on to a bile for 95% of the campaign" just re-enforces how poor the balance actually is, and it makes me hate the campaign even more than I already do.
Halfway decent players can deal with this sort of bad design, but it makes for a sub-par gameplay experience at best, and is downright miserable at worst.
Zambies deal less damage if they hit you from the back.
Then I let my teammates fire at the horde as I slowly tank through it, then I pop my adrenalin a mash M2 until the door is closed.
Works everytime.
its not even hard you just throw a moly towards the saferoom, pick off specials while the moly fades (it commonly spawns 2 hunters and a random special), then go in the room, if teammates are still outside then wait at the middle of the wall outside of the safe room to spawnblock the horde.
this is unironically brilliant especially if you have pills instead to tank even more damage, only issue I see is that it would be extremely difficult for teamates to cover you and that going down here is often a death sentence
Whatever the hell your personal opinion is, there is a non-stop Panic Event which causes unending common infected to swarm from primarily two directions. If you have two hands and your controls aren't gummed up with spilled Coca Cola, you should be able to tank through the onslaught.
This is a skill issue
