I think making content for L4D2 is quite difficult, since you either play on a very casual surface-level with friends just to goof around, which isn't very suitable for repeated uploads, or you get into a niche and focus on that, which doesn't garner much attention.
It seems like most L4D-specific YouTubers either don't upload much (since there's not much new stuff to discover or talk about), keep their content simple (which limits their audience and popularity), or branch out to other related media to tap into more mainstream appeals.
There's old series like "White Lie" which while I don't like it very much, it's a completely original attempt at a retell of the game's story. There's also an ARG-type series that's active lately which focuses around CEDA and a new special infected called "The starer", it even uses some old cut concepts like the cut "Claws" SI.
I just believe that if more people expand the l4d universe in their own ways, we can have alot more of entertaining l4d videos (maybe even mods!) for us to watch (and download).
And RH4XOR
That and the TF2 audience tends to be younger and more gullible which means TF2ubers can clickbait more. Just look at the difference between the L4D2 forum and the TF2 forum. The TF2 forum is literally all trolls, bait, various propaganda, clout chasing and off-topic nonsense.
