Sprays priority in L4D2

Can someone tell me why certain sprays override mine? Meaning they're placed on mine, making mine's obscure to theirs. Is there a way around this? A way to prioritize sprays above others?

For some reasons, it's always p*rn sprays who have the priority over others, trying to hide them never works.

It happens with any Source if you put a spray, the next one will take place over yours, it's like a function or idk, I remember in TF2 I used to put a "forbidden" red circle spray to any dumb waifu spray like it was the Ghostbusters logo.

I think every player's spray is given an ID and the higher the number the higher the spray's priority over other decals. I don't know how the ID is assigned but player's who join later usually have the higher spray priority.

I'm not certain of the exact details, but I believe the texture of the surface you're putting your spray on influences it.
I have a black square with "CENSORED" written in the middle, and it sometimes gets applied over a person's spray, and other times underneath that same person's spray, in the same session/map/area.

The exact colors and format your spray uses might also be a factor.

There is a way to remove any spray people make and its not the game options to disable it. It removes sprays ingame so if you dont like offensive sprays, but unfortunately it removes all sprays that are currently placed.
