"Server is enforcing consistency for this file: models/infected/hunter.mdl"

Every time I enable a skin for the hunter and try to load a game it crashes and leaves a message saying "Server is enforcing consistency for this file: models/infected/hunter.mdl".

How do I fix this?

the fix is in the Error if a server is enforcing consistency for something open up the console and type this out and the autofill should do the rest sv_con

yes that's it by default it should be on so it should appear like this sv_consistency 1 change that 1 to 0 to turn it off

The actual fix is to tell the author of the hunter mod that you are useing that they need to fix their mod. If you don't have any hunter mods, it's probably being caused by some other mod you have.

just sv_consistency 0 will solve the problem
i dont have any mods still my local server doesnt allow anyone else to join so i have to put this command to allow others to join

Can also be triggered by the host if he has a mod for the hunter.

I've noticed sv_consistency 0 does help the most.

If you are hosting locally you need to use sv_consistency 0.
However, if you get consistancy errors on non-local servers, then a mod is usually at fault.

i've disabled all mods and tried to join a local server, dedicated server, best dedicated server all with sv_consistency 1 and sv_consistency 0 and it still doesn't work!? this is a huge problem for me.

verify your game files. if that doesn't work, unsubscribe/unisntall any hunter mods you have and then verify game files
