Is this true about Louis?

This guy I play l4d1 maps with, he keeps saying he picks Louis because he runs faster than other survivors because of his heritage. Has anyone tested this?

No. The only physical attribute that is different is that Coach is Slammed by Charger a bit slower due to his mass. No other attributes are different like speed etc everything else is the same.

I've also heard Coach has a faster recovery from stumbling while Rochelle has the slowest recovery.

Just a heads up for people trying this out: You need to death scream, to enable the speedboost.

if dont, them hes the same as fast as other survivors.

its not due to his heritage but rather the deadly amount of pills that louis takes

While that is not true, there are actually some very small differences between the survivors.

While being pounded by a charger, Coach/Louis actually get slammed into the ground slightly slower than the other survivors.
Ellis/Francis also takes about half a second longer to get up after being pinned by a hunter compared to other survivors.
