Left 4 dead 2 radar and audio boost

I just downloaded left 4 dead 2 and there's a radar, audio boost thing and an arrow on the screen, i'm wondering if this is normal .I don't know know how to take it off could someone help

i have the screenshots but how do i upload them, sorry im new to this

If you want to upload the screenshot(s) on steam, go to your profile, and look through the right column for the "screenshots" tab, click on that, and on the top right you should see an option saying "upload screenshot".

If you want to upload a screenshot outside of steam, I'd suggest going to imgur.com, click "new post" on the top left, then drag and drop the screenshot there. Then you simply wait for the upload to complete, and copy paste the link here.

Odd, try using your phone to take a picture of your whole monitor, then upload that picture to imgur and share the link here.

It might just be an overlay from an other app
