Is it possible to turn off Tanks or just make them now spawn?

I was wondering if it's possible to turn off Tanks in game, or just make them stop spawning on the map since it's kinda annoying.

Type in console... bind T "kick Tank" and whenever they will appear press T.

This won't work everytime, if there would be more Tanks it wouldn't work I guess..

If anything you should practice fighting them so they won't be an issue when they show up.

Theres a workshop addon that removes all special infected, except for tanks in the finale (they only have very little health, basically a normal zombie with blown up muscles) in case you want to try it

In fact Special Infected doesn't make any big problem for me, only Tanks are making me really mad.

Okay guys! I've figured out a command for it!

director_no_bosses 1

EDIT:
Command worked fine for some time but then some of them started spawning.

You can also download an admin commands mod, and bind a keyboard button to "!kill tank", whenever one spawns you press that button and it kills the tank, so you dont have to deal wit hit, only works in singleplayer and local servers though

I tried to download that one day but I couldn't, it was too hard and I was kinda confused while doing this since I had to edit some .txt files, add something to folders etc.

the "kick" command won't work always, for example if there would be more than 1 Tank. And "director_no_bosses" doesn't work for me.. :/
