Administrators,
The Steam page for Ex Simulacris is officially live! This is a bit of a surprise drop - I haven't publicly discussed the game until recently, so finally being able to share it is an exciting milestone.

But what exactly is Ex Simulacris?

ExSim is an upcoming tactical autobattler coming in Q1 of 2027. You'll find plenty of familiar features from anime-style autobattlers: character collection, daily and weekly quests, cosmetics, and more. But there's one major difference:

No premium currencies. No paywalled content. No time gates.

Just a game built around collecting unique and interesting characters, experimenting with team compositions, developing your Operators, and enjoying the experience without the usual monetization frustrations.

Because that's the kind of game I've wanted to play for years, and I got tired of waiting around for someone else to make it - So I decided to do it myself. ːsteamhappyː
But the best part?

You don't need to wait until 2027 to play - the free demo releases on this coming Tuesday, November 3rd!

You'll be able to jump into the Simulation, assemble your own fireteam, experiment with different Operators, and experience the combat system firsthand at no cost.

I'm incredibly excited for everyone to give it a try and share their thoughts. Community feedback will play an important role in shaping the full release, and I'm looking forward to hearing what you think!

If EX SIMULACRIS sounds like your kind of game, please consider adding it to your Steam wishlist! It makes a real difference in helping an independent project reach more players. I'm excited for you all to try and it hear your feedback. The community will play a large part in the direction of the full version, and I've been looking forward to you all to try the game.

Head on over to the X page and Discord to see more news and stay up-to-date on development news!
