We’re excited to let you try Hack It Tycoon in just a few days. Start in a small office and build a software company from the ground up: create apps, make development decisions, and see how your products perform in a changing market.

The demo includes a guided first project, research and skill study, hiring and employee assignments, app reviews and bug fixes, and company finances. You can also choose a starting difficulty, manage your loan repayment deadline, and control the pace of time as your business grows.

We’re continuing work on the systems planned for future updates. Companies and the hacking and defense mechanics are still in development and won’t be part of this demo. We’re also working on deeper employee features, later offices and hardware upgrades, and more balance and polish.

When you play, please share your feedback in the comments or on our Discord. Your reports and suggestions will help shape what comes next. We hope you enjoy building your first software company and if you’re looking forward to the full game, please consider adding it to your wishlist.
