How to Unlock New Game+

Hey all,

We've seen some confusion surrounding the addition of New Game+, so here are some helpful steps:

- Load your save game (in which all Arks have been unlocked and Project Dagger is completed)
- Save a NEW game.
- Quit to the main menu

New Game+ is now unlocked!

I have another question, if I choose to play New Game+ mode and select Ultra Nightmare difficulty after loading screen where I start in my car, am I eligible to win the Ultra Nightmare mode achievement or should I start a new fresh save?

Surely you meant to save a new "savegame"?!
Or did you mean to start over an new game, after having loaded the first savegame. That would destroy the efforts for gaining New Game +.

I meant start over a new game. There is no option to change difficulty before loading into a ng+ game. For that reason I'm not sure if I can get the achievements for two new difficulties.
If not, sadly I'm gonna start a new game.

Sadly NG+ doesn't allow you get the new achievements. As soon as I started NG+ I changed the difficulty to Nightmare. Having just completed the campaign on that difficulty level, the achievement didn't pop. I have an in-game "Prestige" icon now, but that's it. Looks like a brand new game is required to get each of the 3 new achievements.

This is what i did about difficulty and new game plus right after the update.
Loaded my last save with everything cleared. Changed the difficulty to Nightmare, saved the game and quit to main menu. This way my new game plus was from the start the desired difficulty. I hope it works that way.

Did you for sure get the chievo? Also do you know if you beat it on ultra nightmare you will also get the nightmare chievo?

I can confirm i've got the achievement for Nightmare the way i described! Difficulty selected before starting the New game plus. Yes it works!

f*cking awesome!!!! this way, i'll be able to play through both Nightmare and Ultra-Nightmare without having to play through them from complete scratch

Jesus Christ....why is this so difficult to make clear? I beat the game on Nightmare, loaded New Game Plus and switched difficulty to Ultra Nightmare. Will this work or not? I tried the whole saving the game on the new difficulty, but it didn't work. I'm hoping Jason can shed some light on this. Will my scenario work to get the two achievements I don't have (beating the game on Nightmare and Ultra Nightmare)?

Man I hate being that one A-Hole who purchased the game directly from Bethesda.. Half the fun in games are the Steam Achievements and I get 0... I asked Bethesda for a Key to load into Steam... I unfortunately feel I know the answer I'm going to get already lol.

i wish they hadn't added the all arks completed requirement for NG+, I hate the Defibrillator ark cause that slows down the respawn after ya die and ya have to type in a stupid random number, I reloaded my game to before I did it cause I refuse to have that.
