data pad in Wellspring

when I enter Wellspring, my tracker indicates the presence of a data pad. in the central area of alleys I get 2 bars on the tracker, but never more. can't find that data pad anywhere! anyone know where that thing is hiding?

thanks. I've done those - maybe I missed it the first time. not sure how to go about redoing whichever one is the culprit. and I've been all through Undercity - to no avail. no reading on the tracker down there...

fairly sure I got that one already. and it would probably show more than 2 bars on the tracker when approached

Did you get the three down the "lane" to the left of Loosum's place? and the one right to the left of the entrance to loosum's building on a pipe.

yes. whatever data pad it is, it doesn't appear to be in the main thoroughfares - and the signal remains weak - 1 bar, then 2 bars, then 1.

Use focus and you can see the shader though the wall just like ppl xD was in one of they updates so it so each to find them also chest. If you bought the project which sound like you have

Have you checked Loosums tower? There are a few datapads there.

yes. no pads left up there, and no reading on the tracker...

This may or may not be relevant, but when i got that ability I was getting data pad, and storage case reading all over town! I had already looked a fair bit long ago. i follow some of them, could even see them using focus, then, got there and nothing there but still on foucs and flashing tracker. Then I clearly remembered some of those (probably all) I had already picked up ages ago.
In my case, it seems the tracking doesn't delete one already found. What is really odd though is that focus still shows them!?!

Now I only use that in new, or briefly visited areas. It works well. But still registers after I pick it up. This is consistent for me, so I guess it's line of missing code or whatever.

I hope that saves someone time, perplexed, why isn't it here. I am standing on it. It's shown in focus. In the end I realized every such case was data pads, or storage boxes I had already picked up a few weeks prior.

thanks. maybe that's the issue with the reading I get in Wellspring. the fact that the first two 'campaigns' are at 18 but the third is at 16 makes me wonder what I'm missing - and I cannot figure out how to identify the missing items/content...

Could well be. I make a mental note now, but my memory isn't the best so I might end up hunting for non existant (already retrieved) data pads.

Pretty silly bug. What makes it bad is that at least in my case it still show in focus. I tried it on a data pad I picked up at the beginning of the game from the room behind the bar in Gunbarrel town. It's just on the table and can't miss it when going into the sewers for the early mission.
Blackout mission I think, anyway, it's not there of course, but it shows on my tracker, and if I use focus, it's right there, in front of me!! Unreal!! Same in other places too.

To get there, just head to main square in Wellspring. Between the 2 shops called "JACK" (on the left) and "BLOODY MARYS FRESH MEAT" (on the right) there is a back alley. Head in there, take a quick right and continue forward to an elevator that takes you down in the sewers where the TANK is :) You'll find it lying just where the video shows ya ;) Enjoy!
