Defibrillation is it bugged?

Just unlocked the defibrillation nano skill, I guess you would call it. Anyway when doing the test I kept failing, it would count down and then show the A-key and then W-key and I would hit them in the order it showed and fail the test.. But if I hit the Keys that were shown in reverse order I would pass? Haven't tried it outside the testing area yet to see if it the same way. I would think that it should work in the order of the Key's being displayed, or am I wrong?

For me it works if I press the key after it passes the small circle. If i get it perfectly when they connect it doesn't work

I had a hard time with it too til I figured out how it works. They don't do a good job explaining it in the tutorial.

Don't hit the keys as they appear, that's only showing you the order. Wait til the keys actually light up, and hit the key as soon as the circle is full.
