And yes, same here, I need to exit to destop (or, at least, exit to main menu) to stop the sound loop.
Only way i found to fix it is to restart the game.
Honestly the audio is sooooo buggy in this game (more so than any AAA i've ever played). Often sounds won't play. Multiples of the same sound playing at same time, causing a harsh chorus fx. Often so many sounds competing for audio channels at the same time that it causes just a mess of audio output.
