RAGE 2

Reset map locations.
First off the bat I really enjoy this game but...

You finish the game and can come back to complete the rest of the map.
After that you're left with nothing but bounties and convoys to complete, they are not very difficult or satisfying for end game stuff.

Sure there are a few baddies scattered when driving about but nothing major.
It would be super awesome if all the map locations would repopulate with enemies and loot after a few in-game days to add more variety to the end game.

What do you guys think?

I definetly agree that this is a very important feature along with NG+ to extend the longevity of the game. After you have unlocked all weapons and abilities, most outpost and locations have probably been cleared so you barely have any enemies to try these out on.

Hopefully these options will be added in a future patch as they will improve the game a lot in my opinion.

should be easy to add, hope they do

Yeah, this would make this game a bit better. I would also vote for a lot more fast travel points, at three times more than what we have now. Travelling in this game is not fun since the vehicles suck, it's basically just commute. The only good thing is the gunplay. With way more fast travel points, you get much more of a good thing which is FPS combat and much less of the tedium of Rage 2's boring world.

If enough people chime in asking for map locations reset and NG+ features something might happen

Before the game was released one of the devs were asked in an interview if the game had a NG+ and they said it doesn't but once you have completed the game you can still carry on doing stuff. At the time I assumed they meant like the Far Cry games where you can reset outposts, but maybe that is not the case and the dev didn't understand what NG+ is.

I am not a fan of respawn. Actually I find it quite annoying. But I could see an ongoing bounty-system where certain stuff spaws after you accept the quest. That would make the world stay as it is but you could get more stuff to kill if you'd accept the quest.

Respawn is something that is proven to work, it is one of the reasons why games like Borderlands and AC Origins have longevity and worlds that seem alive. No respawn is something that doesn't work for games like this as Rage 2's boring dead world amply demonstrates.

nobody wanted enemies to respawn in bl, they wanted bosses/tubbies to respawn.

Speak for yourself, plenty of people did because without it getting to the bosses is just boring commute unless the spawn point is right next to the boss. And anyway, Rage 2 doesn't even respawn the few bosses that it has.

It works from a developer perspective to extend the content of a game with very little effort, yes.
Imho in AC respawn annoyed many people! But so everyone has a different pov.
Creating more quests or missions rather than just let enemies respawn would be a more qualitive higher game-design-decision imho but it also creates more work!

I had 700+ hours in BL2 and 1,000+ hours in BL franchise as a whole and I always thought that it's nice to kill a few things along the way to the boss. Also, there were whole arenas in Torgue DLC focused around clearing trash mobs for tokens which was actually the best way to farm Torgue guns.

I mean, yeah, quests would be nice but lets be realistic here, that's not going to happen because it's too much work. Respawn is an easy fix and something they might realistically do
