So if you liked the first game, as I did, then I am sure you will like this one too :)...
Mad Max is better than Rage 2.
Just my opinion.
The only real things you would want are the ark storage and ark chests the others give you in game money mostly.
Also you might finish the game and not know it as you unlock things on the map, making quest seem to just end and start really fast when you get around to doing them.
Well I have many hours in the first game and really enjoyed it and imo this one is just as good, possibly better but haven't finished it yet.
@ Dave3d, Yes it does have a kind of Mad Max feel to it which is one of the reasons I am enjoying it but your right it is not as good as Mad Max, at least so far. Mad Max IS a great game I have over 2k hours on that game
idk, we've got better graphics and better world interaction. the madmax combat just never felt right to me.
really? :*( I haven';t hit any story exposure issues yet, just really bad AI. So bad that i'm sitting here for the first time in my life of gaming SINCE 88! being like "wtf, that was some youtube level AI fail"
(i was in an air shaft, in the vent, bunch of dudes in the room outside the vent, every kill triggered slomo, n none of them ever noticed.
What I miss from Rage 1, however, are the diverse gadgets (like spider drones and RC bomb cars) and the trading card game you could play in towns. Rage 2's towns have little to offer besides generic shops and quest givers--there's nothing "cool" to do on the side.
They're such different games, though, it's tough to compare them from top to bottom and say whether one is "better" than the other overall.
the shell is there, and IDsoft tends to do things a bit better than ubisoft. I truly hope the well fleshed out towns will come more alive with time (DLC)
