How to upgrade weapons?
Ok so been playing for a good chunk of time now, and for some reason i cant figure out why i cant upgrade my assault riffle ect. It says in the upgrade window i can use crystals to do instant upgrade but there is no option to apply that. I have tons of crystals to do it, but no way of upgrading. What gives?? Do i need to progress in the story line? Help pls, cheers.

I seem to have the same problem, cannot get past lvl2 on weapons. Also, it seems like I can't choose bigger magazine perk on lvl2, only improved reload speed..

Anyone know something on this topic?

You can only have one active weapon mod per level, and the mod you choose is set in stone UNLESS you get the "Weapon Tinkering Expert" ability (unlocked under Projects->Kill & Destroy->Tier 2, 2nd ability to the right). With that ability, you can swap mods in the menu.

I have about 10 tokens to place in for the weapon mods, but cant get past t2, says i can grab t3 but i cant/wont let me purchase t3. Possible bug?

Yes, I understand that I in theory should choose between perks. But I cannot choose bigger magazine. But I read in another post here that the mouse does not work properly in menues, and tjat I have to use W, ASD keys istead. Will try that.

The upgrade window is unintuitive. You need to use arrow keys to move the selection around. You need feltrite to upgrade the weapon, then weapon part(s) to add perks to them. You can fully upgrade a weapon without applying ANY perks... but you need to upgrade the weapon to unlock the ability to add perks of varying features.

There is also a project perk... forget who unlocks it (think Marshall) that allows you to swap between perks at will. For example, if you picked a larger gun clip but would prefer faster reload the perk allows you to switch at any time free of charge.

do u have enough feltrite to unlock t3? you need to upgrade the tiers with feltrite crystals then you can use the weapon mod cores.

Oh dude i have so much atm its coming out of my ears lol. But the problem is, its not showing me that i can unlock it. Usually like the other menus it says hold F down to unlock but i dont see that at all. It just has t3 in yellow, informs me i can unlock it but nothing. Figure it was i didnt mean a certain specification.

Ugh figured out the problem... jesus *smack* had to use the bloody arrow keys to move up and down to select the t3. As mentioned above. Ok we are good.... everything is ok now... all lovely and dandy (hides)
