Shrouded Vault Ark door broken and won't open. bug?

I think I have a bug. I'm trying to get into the Shrouded Vault Ark to get the charged pulse cannon, and the door will not open, no matter how many times I hit the button. A message had popped up when I first tried that said something like "text box error message" and then some random numbers. I tried and can't reproduce it, but the door is definitely not opening, I don't have any manual saves so I can't really revert to before. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks that a main weapon is inaccessible due to a door bug

From what I've read, you have to do two side objectives first. I don't remember which ones exactly, but do some quick googling about it.

You have to clear and destroy the two sub stations near the ark.

I have the same issue. I actually finished both A and B sub stations a long time ago. Basically finished the whole game, Killed the bad guy and I am missing one ark. I looked up ARK locations and this is the one I am missing. Came back and the door is locked. I checked both substations 3 times. Back and forth... back and forth. I have green checkmark for everything. No enemies in sight. And doors are still locked.

Im so stupid... I didn't realize until today that Start a New Game + is not how you start the dlc. That just starts the game all over with all my powers. And also Managed to open the doors. I kept watching videos what am I missing about the shrouded vault mission and went back to alpha and bravo stations like a dozen times. I just finally watched a youtube video all the way and realized there was a freaking switch and the main vault to open the doors.... smh.

I had my first really bad bugs/glitches at that spot. I had completed the story/game and decided to go pickup that weapon afterwards... and I got stuck there, literally. I could leave, but no matter where I went, what I did, where I saved (if the game did not crash and it did a lot) I kept re-spawning Underground in the Shrouded Underground Ark. Somehow the Phoenix made it downstairs with me.. which is a physical impossibility because it's too large for the damned elevator lol.

First time this happened to me I rolled back and loaded an older Save File, which stunk because it was much older... never expected this to happen, who would? BAD Bethesda BAD!

I was able to roam around free and play perfectly fine.. until I started an NG+ and went to the spot.. same thing happened. I got frustrated, so instead of loading an Old Save File I decided to Delete my Current Save File, and run somewhere/fast travel far away and make a New Save ASAP. I quit the game, reloaded and fortunately that did the trick.

These issues should never exist in a game like this, especially one some of us pre-ordered and paid $90+ USD for. Pathetic, and they even gave us crap about the 1st DLC which was promised 100% free to Deluxe Owners... as they would not release us the DLC they forced EVERYONE to download Deluxe or Standard... poor Standard players had to download an 18GB file for a DLC they don't even own.

Every problem or issue required regarding the game and content missing, whether the BFG, another weapon, even a weapon skin, and even the DLC Bethesda makes you Submit a Support Ticket and show them your Proof of Purchase.. it usually takes them about 20min to an hour to resolve the issue.. as they'll say "We investigated and it looks like we can give you that content.. please try reloading the game!"

Jeez thanks, stuff I paid for you needed to "investigate"... okay, yeah lets make sure nobody gets anything they are supposed, god forbid someone you forced that 18GB download on with the Standard version accidentally got the DLC for free.... pfft this game is a dead duck. No New RoadMap in sight... and we've never seen them address or acknowledge common issues, bugs, glitches, crashes, etc.. that have been present since Day 1... PATHETIC BETHESDA!

Yeah, you're right, they should make the swampboat driveable.
