HELP! PS4 Controller support

Does anyone know how to make the PS4 controller work with this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game?

me using the USB cable is working though,but it show up with the xbox keymapping

Yeah this is very frustrating, so few devs actually bother to make their game compatible with PS4 controller, or put in the PS4 button prompts so its not showing press X for Square etc.

Honestly you may want to consider just getting an Xbox One controller. I always used my PS4 controller since I already had it from my ps4, but DS4 and other xinput programs to make it work are janky and steam's native support also sucks. They're like $30 on amazon, and they work for ALL games.

You're right. I tried using the DS4 but when I play the game, the game detects both the gamepad controller and mouse + keyboard and it messes everything up and even pauses the game randomly. I uploaded a twitch video on this link https://www.twitch.tv/videos/425435825## and you can see that I was struggling with the sensitivity and the button prompts constantly changing. Do you use an Xbox One Controller and does it work without any problems?
