I would also like to know how much of rpg elements are in this game, as I'm an action-rpg fan...

The RPG element in action games usually consists in the skills and leveling of these skills.

There are several skill trees. Suit upgrades that boost your abilities and sustainability (less damage, more ammo, better skills, less cooldowns etc); Weapon upgrades that boost your offensive capabilities, a punch that gun has as well as bullets in a mag etc; "Projects" that boost your other skills such as - you find more loot, can throw grenades back and so on and so forth; Vehicle upgrades that, well, upgrade vehicles.
To level up a skill firstly you need to spend crystals that unlock levels of that said skill (increasing some stats of it, for instance defibrillator regaining 5% more hp with each level up to 5 or whatnot levels that it has). After that you spend special currency to purchase perks for it, you find these around the locations in wasteland as well as you can buy them for money from vendors. Same goes with weapon upgrades.
When you do content in the world such as specific areas which all have different themes to them be it kill everything or activate something while killing everything you gain experience towards 1 of three "Projects" and when you level that up you get special project points to spend on any projects in general.
