Hand scanners in eden space center?

I'm unable to unlock the door in eden space center. The hand scanner has a red screen with a lock. WTF am I doing wrong.

Did you use the one in the main lobby to be appointed president and have security clearance to activate the others?

You need to use first scanner in middle of that big lobby when you entering to lobby, then crazy doctor is hackinh system and you need to defend yourself. After that you should be able to open all hand scanner doors.

No option to do that. I don't even have the "ground control mission" just a marker to go here and kill goons.

That’s a different mission. Have you been to the Swamp and actually started the Eden mission?

Have you met dr.vargaz, because it is hes first mission to unlock search and destroy ability bar.

I had the same problem and I just fixed it, I was about to restart my game after twenty hours in and thought to myself I will save my game right in front of the hand scanner that’s locked then load the game as a last ditch effort and when I loaded it back up the hand scanner changed from a lock to the hand. I was so excited to tell everyone that I didn’t progress any farther so here’s to finishing the mission! I hope this helps anyone having the hand scanner not work

There is No way to fix it! I have tried everything ! I have restarted the game over and over restarted mission before the mission began and NOTHING works and they put out another dlc when the first BREAKS THE GAME!!!!!!!!!!! I won't buy anything else till they fix what is ALREADY BROKEN!!!!!
