Dash???

First Arch:

How to use dash? Game says press W/A/S/D + strg but nothing really happens. sometimes it works sometimes not. i'm in this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ tutorial

It was the default Nano key for me and it was left control (ctrl). Move in any direction and hit left ctrl and it moves you quickly out of the way. There is a cool down period too so that may be giving you the issue.

push them together?....i changed my cntrl key to one of my mouse buttons,so much easier.

I think you hold down the movement key and tap the dash key (default ctrl but that sucks so I changed it to alt).

you press direction, so when you run you just hit control and it gives you a dash in the already moving direction

This is so stupid I literally could only do it once for the tutorial and now it can't do it PERIOD anymore

Just hit CTRL while moving, though I'd certainly recommend binding that to a thumb button on your mouse.

im sry to say that you might have caught a case of the git gut, even thought i dislike saying it, it only works when you move in a direction while holding the key to direction and then hitting the control key ever so tabbing

okay so I've found that if you have it set to a toggle control rather than hold it works ALOT better.

I( dont use dash. Its unreliable for me to trigger it.Not going to risk getting hit . I just manually move to the side and it often is good enough.

Bought the Game today and mybe for people still struggle with this it is NOT w/a/s/d+ctrl its w/a/s/d+shift+ctrl

no you don't need shift. Just press the direction first and then hit the focus button.
