Why female character is ugly?

This might be the first game I will have to play as dude. My fantasy of kicking ass as general Furiosa abandoned.

I hope someone will mod female chatacter. She is hidious while male character resembles a human being, female one looks like cliche lesbian. Gentle, pretty women can also shoot assualt rifle.

I will play game later tonight but what I saw in the opening gamplay video scared the s$hit out of me. So ugly. Bleeeee.

Not true. There are some fat people but lots of people care about their image these days.

Somehow I doubt this. I know lots of girls and I see lots of ladies every day and pretty much no looked like Rage 2 mutant. Yes, there are some fat people out there but you can imagine how they would look without all this body fat and they would still look better than Rage 2 character.

You and a few others just do not get it. It is partly about immersion and partly about what suits the genre (fitting). I do not mind many ugly women in a apoch. setting like Rage2. But all of them ugly???? makes no sense. Some are ugly cause they want to be (maniacs, bandits etc), some would be because of very harsh lives. But some would also be normal and even pretty. That is really all REAL gamers want, variety!
In this game it is like they made a point about all women beeing extremely ugly cause it is wrong to let womens be sexy or pretty! it reeks of progressive BS we do not want in games!

But this is not about me at all, this is about people making games who totaly fail to just give a setting that overall makes sense. Making ugly women just for the sake of it is just dumb! I would find it equally stupid to have to many pretty women with perfect bodies! Variety is the key!

I currently play No mans sky (good game), but there is only men in the whole galaxy. I think they wanted to go for unisex *something* but the NPC models have clearly male attributes. As soon as you notice it becomes distracting ... where did they hide all the women? How can they keep living without females... LOL
