Rage 2 vs Metro Exodus vs Borderlands 3

Which one you prefer and why ? (Launcher exclusivity aside)

I would love to play metro exodus but decided to get Rage 2 instead. Borderlands 3 is all about loot so I am not interested with it either.

2/3 hasn't launched yet, so i doubt anyone can give you an opinion on those.

Metro is short, but good fun as long as it lasts.

Borderlands 3 cause Borderlands is my childhood.

Borderlands 3 easily. It being a loot-shooter that'll get multiple DLCs (like 2 did) and it just having replaybility through the roof (if you enjoy it enough that is) makes it an easy choice for me.

I’ve played a bunch of Borderlands, and it was mostly fun, but I think loot shooters have come a long way since BL2. BL3 looks like a lot more of the same, so I’m not all that interested in it right now.

Metro launched like every Metro game has; rough AF. I’m sure I’ll get it eventually, but after it’s had some time to ripen.

Rage 2 looks promising, and I hope it’s good. Of the three, Rage 2 is the one I’m most interested in. Probably give it a rent on Xbox next week, see if I want to buy it.

I love Metro for its narrative and atmosphere but when it comes to just having fun RAGE 2 will probably be more my speed.

BL3 looks good but it looks like just more of the same, I’ve 100%-ed all the previous BLs and now I’m just bored by them. Plus BL’s gunplay was never very strong and it doesn’t look like they’ve improved much, looks really slow and dull compared to RAGE.

BL3 must be doing very poorly thanks to epic.. they are offloading 20 extra games in GMG if you pre order.. they wouldn't be doing that if it was selling well..

I wouldn't buy epic games even if they gave me 100 free games..

Seeing that most people play on console anyways, I doubt that they even give a damn if they lose half of 20% when they make mad cash up front thanks to Epic.

Same. After Destiny and Doom, it’s very hard for me to go back to Borderlands’ shooting mechanics.
And after putting a whole bunch of time into BL1 and 2, on console and PC, I need something pretty new and exciting from BL3.

Yeah agreed the games are played out i'll wait till it goes on steam or never play it, doesn't really ever bother me..

Would take some massive talent to beat Exodus...the story line alone is a masterpiece and then the graphics are wow.Rage 2 on the engine it is being used should be epic,hoping they have it optimized not like the first and it should be amazing as well.

I dunno unless metro ever comes to steam i'll never know. Not that worried either way though no matter how good it was.

graphically, metro looks nice and it's not a bad game to watch others play, but my god, it also looks soooooo slow...nothing against metro as i've never played it, but in-your-face combat focused around speed, maneuverability, and special abilities in an open world are what i've been waiting for for quite some time
