Cult of the Death God mission
I had Blackout already finished when i unlocked my digital deluxe edition (had to write the bethesda support to make it appear in my bethesda account) so i couldnt start the mission now i am in Game + and still cant get it going? Is the only way to start a completly new game? that would suck a lot.
Could get the BFG after just fine.....

The mission isn't included in Deluxe Edition (idk about Collectors Edition) and can be purchased from in-game store separately for 500 rage coins.

Now that you've cleared that up - here's a new 'gripe' for you that I've had since launch.

The rewards (skins) are not given to you. I mean ♥♥♥♥♥ I've been a part of every community challenge, E3 keynote, bounty collection, convoy destruction, goonie/shrouded kills, Ruckus the crusher original challenge, and I do not get the skins they "Promised" to give me. I contacted support once too and they said no way Mr Gazer, no skins for you. It's not worth the hassle to me to take the support tickets any further. Bethesda customer service is like a kick in the face with a steel toe boot.

So no doubt this post will get removed - because of the negative comments - and the fact that it is true. Very disappointed with Bethesda and Bethesda support.

The game is good though 7.5 out of 10.

Same, you should have gotten both that mission and the BFG with the Deluxe Edition. I have not and will not spend money on Rage Coins, they are useless.. don't bother.

This game is like $25 USD now for the Deluxe Edition because they want to sell as many copies as possible, so they can then try and sell as many copies of the DLC before the game breaks more. They've done a pretty piss poor job addressing and resolving a lot of issues with this game, still people complaining about crashing.. seems like a lot of GeForce Video Card Users/Players.

The Cult Mission is fun, like mentioned above you need to get to a certain level for John Marshall, and I believe you can only complete it once per Game Play?

I had to go through the same nonsense to get my Doombringer Skin for my Hyper-Cannon after the event (Goons vs Mutants), everyone seemed to kill the Goons therefore we got rewarded with the Hyper-Cannon skin.

I had it pop up the next day like it was supposed to, but when I started an NG+ game it disappeared. I fortunately had a screenshot of me using it, and thankfully... Because when I sent Bethesda a Support Ticket they kept asking me for receipts, screenshots, and since I got the game directly through Bethesda taking Screenshots isn't as easy... as I had to Window Mode and snap them with F13/Print Screen to my DropBox.

After sending Bethesda my initial ticket and trying to describe to the Agent what the issue was, as she did not believe I paid for the skin since I had no "receipt" I basically said "Duh... you were supposed to give it to us for free, you did, now it's missing"... She then replied asking "Did you take place in the Community Event.. If you did not you will not Receive the Skin.."

So they are on Cloud 9, fortunately BethesdaJason got it figured out, I feel like he's the only available resource they put towards this game's "Tech Support".... Still couldn't believe how confused the Bethesda Agent's were and how just ill-informed they are regarding their own games/products.

Ahh, yeah it is confusing. I did pre-order the DDE via Bethesda.. as soon as it went on sale which was only 2 weeks before it was advertised on Steam. I kept getting confused since a lot of people kept saying the 1st DLC will not be included for those who purchased the DE... but I guess if we pre-ordered it prior to release we are good?

I honestly wouldn't mind paying $15 for the DLC, but if I don't have to.. not going to heh. I just hope it gives us at least a few hours of "new content" and enough to make it worthwhile.

I think the whole Standard vs Deluxe thing is silly, Bethesda loves to do it though. It's the same game and there's no need for it. I understand getting a few freebies & perks for Pre-Ordering a game.. but just seems like more of a chore for the Developers/Support team.

I've said it before, but I feel like they probably have 2-3 people @ Bethesda "supporting" Rage 2. Probably 1 for each Console/Platform (PC, XB1, PS4)... and all their job is to divide up the Standard vs Deluxe players... as I've seen so many who have ordered the Deluxe Edition still have to contact Bethesda after installing the game as they were not given the Deluxe Edition.... mostly Steam users.

I didn't have the issue on release, the Deluxe Version downloaded and installed perfectly fine... the game played great no crashes or anything until they did their "1st Update". Unfortunately just by looking at this forum many Steam users have had to send in their Receipts to Bethesda Support and PROVE that they purchased the Deluxe copy... I've even heard people going as far as having to show receipts for RAGE coins purchased via Steam as they were not getting them... which stinks as I've heard they resolve the issue but it takes 24-48hrs for the Coins to show up in their accounts... I personally want nothing to do with Rage Coins, nothing special in that "store" Bethesda tossed into the menu... I don't care what my gun looks like as long as it works. I understand as silly as it is for online/MP games like Quake Champions (similar store setup) buying player/weapon skins to play with online... sure it's neat to see the Q2 Railgun and older models.. but I see no point in a SinglePlayer game... just me though.

Also i think i dont get the community skins. Will see in a few weeks.

I bought 500 rage coins (4.99) via steam to buy the Cult of the Death God pack that worked fine at least xD
