Is that planned for real?
The whole core stone is a bit one dimensional because you only have 1 enemy type and the core stone just has one special ability, if you can even call it an ability because it's just an invulnerability phase
you can just re-grab the zipline when you get knocked off so this would do basically nothing
personally I think zipline camping on the corestone being so common is a symptom of the actual problem which is killing crawlers is basically pointless with how quickly they respawn and how much ammo they consume, hence why common recommendations outside of ziplines are to distract, fear, stun, or delay crawlers instead of killing them efficiently
Might be in their plans, though, for all we know.
As soon as there is a fat chaingunner flyer or foes with a grapple tackle in the mix, would be a tad brutal for folk who struggle to find battle strats around it initially with the pressure that gets applied when the event starts...
Now I just sigh internally whenever coming across a core stone and someone types in chat: "wait, ziplines first." When I'm the Gunner, I secretly hope nobody mentions it before we start.
