Hey Fellas... you no doubt have heard this freemium song played all over Youtube and those who are familiar with musical theory and the manner by which composers write music in a similar vein to how a painter decorates a single image, you too have likely envisioned the story playing out behind the notes in this piece.

I do not have the required skillset to make this, but i cant help but listen to this song and think of DRG as i envision my scout cracking open a wall revealing a great and insurmountable disaster that one can only struggle to just run from let alone mount a counter to. I cant help myself but to desire an animation be created featuring the subsequent events that would no doubt transpire as our plucky dwarven miners drop everything at once to escape as this orchestral work opens up in line with the crumbling of the terrain, eruption of material walls, and the carnage of dwarves running to get out of the way as an ecosystem is destroyed and crushed underfoot by this terrible lumbering monster. there are obvious moments where someone or something gets crushed under the insurmountable weight of the challenge and all others can only continue to run for their own lives less they too become buried and forgotten in the rubble.

What im asking then is if anyone in the community has the talents to make such a short animation (drawn or digital) to match this orchestral masterpiece?

I have listened to a lot of Orchestral music over the years, and love music and good composition in general.
The piece you share here is neither an orchestral piece (not played by an orchestra), nor would i consider it a masterpiece. Although that last part is subjective, the composition in this song is extremely common in neoclasical music and by extend overdone to the point of it not being original in any way anymore.

But if you can find someone with love for this song to put that kind of work in, all the power to you :)

To be fair, it is a weird thread. This forum is meant for suggestions for the game, but this thread is about OP wanting someone to make an animation based on a story he came up with after listening to a song? Weird.

i make those suggestions too. they also get canceled by gatekeepers lol. its pretty good i dont really care if some people dont like them... maybe some others do... it all balances out in the end.

As i said while listening to it i had a vision of my Scout popping open something nasty behind one of the walls in the caves of Hoxxes. if you listen to the parts in the extended version you can clearly hear when "something" is being crushed by the Final Boss and that visual suggests your only choice is to run for your life. i know it doesnt match the Dark Sythwave music of the DRG theme but its still awesome.

Surely you can learn? You already have the creativity of imagination, practical skillsets just take a bit of time and effort. You have an idea for something you want done... go do it instead of asking someone else to do it for you.

based on the averages id place my bet on the latter. even if you were i dont want it bad enough to risk doing business with someone so ...rude.

Additionally im not aganst commissions but if im not aiming to own licence to the work afterwards then the justification is mute.

Johnno even complimented you on your creativity, and did not talk down on you in any way.

If you were willing to give someone worth for their time and effort spend on something you specificaly wanted, you would have shared so by now. The only thing i read here is that you are selfish and want others to do things for you without giving anything back or do anything for it. That does not make you look good nor make people actualy want to help you.

You can talk down on people all you want, but that realy wont get you far in these forums.

well... thanks but that has nothing to do with the primary suggestion but it's awesome of you to plug that really great mod. ive had a desire to do just that for a few songs but i already enjoy the existing music more than plenty.
