Cobwebs/Spiderwebs Should do More
Small physics objects should stick to them, staying in place until the web is broken. I'm talking thrown flares (maybe with a late-game upgrade to let the flare ignite them), mineral chunks, et cetera.

Considering you cant interact with cobwebs other than run through them, they would require a complete rework.
Right now shooting, burning, freezing, nothing effects them.
If objects stick into something that you cant even remove without running into it, that would be quite annoying.

If the developers were to introduce ways to interact with cobwebs so you can also destroy them, I would not mind this suggestion as it opens up more ways to interact with the environment and thus more immersion.

you can burn them... but you can't throw a flare into them and they do not seem to slow enemies... would be nice if this changed but I am ok with it.

This is incorrect. Hitting them with a flamethrower destroys them. I'm unsure if other heat sources hold the same, but I know from experience that the flamer works fine.

I just wish they hadn't messed up the visuals. At some point, they updated the cobwebs, and now they look weird when they burn; one piece doesn't visually ignite, and just winks out when the web is fully destroyed.

Maybe it was a bug in the past, since I remember it not working anymore. I have not played flametrower and gotten cobwebs recently, so I dont know if or if it does not work right now.
