[Fixed] Weird Wall Texture Issue (Black Surfaces)
Trying my hand at DRG and I am having a graphic problem that is keeping me from enjoying the game.
The walls of the cave often display with a black surface. (I believe this is called a surface texture??)
The black surface looks like an opening, but when I get closer, the wall surface finally displays correctly.
This happens a lot. It causes me to feel disorientated as I move through the cavern. I did a search in the steam forums and did not find any similar complaints.
I have a new desktop computer, so I don't think it is a lack of computing horsepower.
Are there game settings that I can try, which might fix the problem? I am going to have to return the game, otherwise. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

DRG can use either DirectX11 or 12, and defaults to 12. Some people have had graphic issues that were apparently fixed by changing back to 11. You could try that (or, if you're already using 11, you could try 12). If you use the Play button in your Steam library, it should let you select 11 or 12.

I changed the game to DirectX11 and the problems seemed to have gone away. I even used Ultra graphics-setting-level for Texture Resolutions. Thanks!
