Bosco bugs

I really like Bosco, when it's working properly. Unfortunately, I frequently have trouble getting it to obey my commands. I find it particularly unresponsive to the X button on keyboard and the command to fire rockets. I think the rockets button works about half the time I click it (no, they are not all recharging) but the X button mostly just makes my gun twitch while Bosco does nothing. It's particularly common while Bosco is holding something that I'm trying to make it drop.

Less common but probably worst of all is the way Bosco sometimes just flies off on its own and refuses to return for several minutes. It happened to me again today: I told Bosco to shoot a Stabber Vine, but instead it just disappeared. The laser pointer showed it off in some other cave over 340m away (despite my still being in the drop location with no exits drilled) and it stayed there for at least 5 minutes while I battled a swarm alone.

Rockets and getting lost can suck - though you can use X to call him back.

As for X not working and making your gun twitch, it's because X is also bound to the laser pointer when held instead of tapped. So you're holding the button slightly too long, starting the animation to pull out the pointer for a moment (the gun twitch), instead of shouting.
