Friends missions not show up on the map.
For those of you wondering, I had my friend verify and reinstall Deep Rock and we still cannot see his missions. Now he is a new player, but after he finished all his missions for the new comer, we are still not able to see his missions. Wondering if this is going to be fixed, or the missions for them are scripted (have a set name and area on the map.)
I played recently so if it was fixed in that time, well then I need to know.
Right know they are the main host, and we still cannot see their missions. Its kind of frustrating, and was looking at the steam community for Deep Rock for help as well as the Devs.

Have this issue too, also it happens with not only friends but lobby hosts in general

The exact same thing happens to me and I don't know how to solve that.

I guess "his missions" is referring to assignment missions?

You and your friend should check the date and time on your computer. The available biomes and missions are time-based, and if one of your systems is off, you may not see the same things in the mission terminal.

If the date and time both seem OK, you might want to check the time zone too (on both systems). I think someone was having a problem with missions and it was resolved by changing the time zone (I can't really remember any details).

Honestly... I think you might be one to something (generally speaking that would work if my friend and I did not live in the same time zone.)

He is not a seasonal miner like most of my friends are, he`s a new miner. It might be that because we are so high that the assignment missions for him are not displaying since we already finished them. If that`s so then the caves for the beginning and much after are scripted.

Thanks for the idea, I might try it out to see of his clock is off on his computer.

You should be able to see any active assignment missions for every player in the space rig. I don't think that there's any restriction on that. I've seen assignment missions for players that were doing the first set of missions (Conquer Hoxxes), and I did those missions long ago.
