While I'm not discounting that you may have connectivity issues, each season has brought more new players who have stability issues of their own, thus you may well lose connection when connecting to a host.
I don't claim that that's the only issue, nor that there are no issues, but I'd recommend that you try hosting games yourself to see if you can, and if others can stay connected to you.
But there is a pinned thread about disconnects you should put your info there and answer the devs questions.

More responses mean the devs may find something. Still no correlation yet.
My only thing I could suggest is checking:
- Make sure you are not running through a double NAT.
- Check QoS settings at your router.
- Run a consistent ping (with CMD) to 8.8.8.8 or 1.1.1.1 in the background and when you disconnect check to see if your internet itself dropped out or you are getting moments of crazy high jitter. If all packets are making it out and in its a good chance it is just the host.
- Disable and uninstall all mods.
