I didn't get my tritilyte key

So, I have my engineer already promoted but i don't have he tritilyte key. My friend told me that he also had to uncover 3 cards while promoting, but I hadn't theese. Any ideas wth is going on?

I don't recall exactly what it looks like at first promotion regarding the key, but you've tried to do a machine event after your promotion? Is that how you found out you don't actually have the key?

Hm, have you actually done the promotion assignment, not just reached lvl 25?

I have 1 star on my engineer, i can do a deep dive and have access to the forge

No idea then, I suppose if it wasn't very long ago you could load up the save just before promotion (perhaps you even have one from right after finishing the assignment but before promotion).

Esc - options - Save menu. You can load a save from there (check for one that doesn't have a promotion but has level 25.

That is, if it's very recent so you don't lose much progress, otherwise I'm out of ideas. I wouldn't recommend waiting for a second promotion, unless you're already very well on your way there.

Usually the key is just a pop up that says "yeah you got it now" its not an actual key to obtain.

That said that must be a strange bug, I too would try to select an older savefile and promote again.

yes, once you promote 1 dwarf every other class has the key forever

Like, I didn't even know that there was a key in the game in the first place, until I've noticed that i cand get any rewards from machine events. Now i saw a vid on YT where someone promotes firts time and i didn't have that cutscene. Only control guy congratulating.

Potentially it could be a very fresh bug, never heard it mentioned before. You could always reload the more progressed save if the promotion from a rollback doesn't work, and wait for a fix.

I'd recommend you back up your save locally from C:\whatever\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Deep Rock Galactic\FSD\Saved\SaveGames

(c:\whatever refers to whereever you have installed Steam)

and then do the rollback to see if that fixes it. Up to you, I'm not sure if anything else can be done other than waiting to see if anyone else has the issue and then the devs might be able to fix it.

Could also join the DRG Discord and ask there in the bug channel, someone there might know more.
