"Corrupt data: Verify the installation files"
Anyone else getting this? Never got this popup until just today, and now I'm getting it spammed at me during gameplay, which loses focus of the window. It's making the game unplayable and actually caused DRG to freeze (but not my computer) and lay the window over top of everything else so I couldn't do anything. ALT+TAB would show the windows, but selecting any other window was impossible because DRG was overtop everything else. ALT+F4/5 wouldn't work either. Had to press the reset button on my computer. Since there's no crashes, I can't show anyone a crashlog.

And before you ask, yes I verified the files, even reinstalling the game.

First tip:
Task Manager -> More Details -> Options -> Always On Top

Since you've already verified files/reinstalled you could try reloading your save file, it can get corrupted and cause issues.

1. Turn off cloud saves for DRG in your game library.
2. Move all the files from C:\ ... \SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Deep Rock Galactic\FSD\Saved\SaveGames somewhere else (a backup folder on your desktop or something).
3. Start the game. It should start you entirely fresh with the tutorial. Hit esc - skip tutorial, check that it loads the spacerig, then exit game.
4. Turn on cloud saves again, start game.
5. Hit esc - options - save menu - restore save. Load up your highest progression save (or whichever you'd prefer).

Hope that helps.

Hrm... Unfortunately nothing different. As soon as the cutscene loaded (which I forgot there even was one), the popup appeared twice, the second time causing the game to freeze... Suddenly when I tried to use task manager, it said DRG was using 10GB of my ram, idk how.

Hm... I just launched it in safe mode and that seemed to fix it. Maybe it was one of the mods I got... Nobody else in the like, 2 mods I got recently complained saying it broke their games or anything. So I dunno, maybe it was just a hiccup. I'll just not enable those new ones I got. Sad, because they were really awesome.
