FWIW, I've been playing for 2 years and I can't remember if I've ever fallen through the drop pod ramp (it may have happened long, long ago), and I've never fallen through the floor on the minehead or refining platform, or had problems using the MULE or a resupply pod. Doretta is trickier, and there may be occasional issues when riding the dozer, but they're just momentary and I just shrug them off. I don't think I've ever had any problems when she was stationary.
This is not to say that there aren't problems, but the things that you described don't seem to be common issues (based on the posts here), and most of them really sound like lag/connection issues.
I've completed 2K+ missions and I had one time (maybe a year ago or more) when I fell through the drop pod floor. So, it has been known to happen, but I've only seen it once, and I assume that that was a lag/connection problem.
When I join a mission in progress, I do sometimes see a bug that's just sitting/hovering there. This is presumably out-of-date game info, showing me a bug that had already been killed. I shoot it (or at it) and it doesn't respond, and I move on, and the bug disappears shortly after I arrive. I have also seen a slightly different issue with menaces, in particular. I've had several times when I joined a mission and there was a menace, and I could shoot it and tag it with the laser, but I wasn't actually hurting it, and it didn't respond, attack or move, and no one else could see it. And those menaces can stay around for the rest of the mission (just sitting in the same spot, not doing anything). {shrug}
If you've mostly/always been playing co-op with one of you three hosting, you could all try joining games hosted by other people, and see if you have the same problems.
It only happened once in my (idk 20ish) sologames. After that I convinced the other two to buy the game and none of us really played a significant amount of sologames ever since.
In the 100h I played so far, it bugged out like this in 8 occasions or so. Last time we played it happened back to back, but one of the group was having issues (1 FPS for some reason) so it definitely could have been lag. But it's also weird, because she can't be the only source of the problem since it also happpened once while duoing with the other one (so without her).
I'm starting to think that I might be the problem somehow, since I've always been in those games. Guess I could try to join some games with other people online, and see whether or not it happens then as well. Might ruin a single mission, but I guess that's ok for science ... :)
Our pings all seemed fine, none higher than 60ms.
We'll try different hosts and see if that works, but if that doesn't fix it I'm losing desire to continue on.
That really sucks. Have you all tried having Steam verify the game files (just a standard thing to try when having problems with a game)?
Other than that, I have to assume that your systems and/or connections are somehow a factor. I've completed almost 3000 co-op missions and only fell through the pod floor once, and that was long ago.
FWIW, I think others have said that just getting inside the pod, without touching the floor (eg. using a zipline) didn't get around this problem. You probably have to make contact with the floor to trigger the pod launch.
Getting a "victory pose" and loading in your room, but also getting the "mission failure" screen, sounds really odd. I have no explanation for that.
FWIW, you could have an OK ping, but still be losing data (packet loss). You all might want to try some Internet connection tests, if you haven't already.
I wouldn’t suprised if most of them are because of mods and cheats.
Once the bug starts, I just walk through all platforms, pipelines, resupply pods, etc. I also cannot interact with anything with E: cannot build or recharge turret, cannot resupply, etc. The only solution is to abandon the mission.
Also happens if I'm hosting or not. Also always happens whenever 121812 bugs spawn at once.
In any case, does this sound similar to your experience?
