Cannot complete 'Conquer Hoxxes IV' assignment.

Recently purchased this. I have 'Conquer Hoxxes IV' up to the last Elimination mission.

I have successfully completed it over 10 times. The first time I did it, I dinged the achievement for completing the assignment. Every time, I get the pay out, I get the 'assignment complete' popup graphic, but the assignment does not actually complete. I've tried it on different classes and at different difficulties. I've finished it with and without completing the secondary objective. I've done it in more than one biome.

Since this is the first assignment, there is no 'abandon' option to reset it at the Assignment computer. And since it never actually completes, I can't select any other Assignments for game progression.

In searching here and on Google, I have only seen 4-5 reports of problems with assignments getting stuck on the last stage, and the answers were to make sure you do the mission marked for the assignment (done that over ten times), to try a different difficulty (did that, did not work) or to abandon and restart the mission (the game won't let me).

I've made significant progress on leveling my classes, and on finding several unlocks from the random treasure spawns. I do not want to reset my profile - further, resetting a profile seems a bit pointless since that won't prevent the error from happening again. Has anyone figured out a solution to this?

I'll report it to them directly since I've seen a few others with similar issues. Devs are on vacation right now so it'll be a couple weeks before they can even look into it.

I have the same problem. Can't get credit for the last mission despite completing it five times with different classes & on harder difficulties and can't use the assignment board to move on.

I'm not sure if there was a micro patch or a server side fix, but I was finally able to actually complete this introduction assignment when I tried again on 8/2.

Have a friend who's currently having this issue, was there ever any client-side work-around for this or anything?

Edit: Just for anyone else who encounters this in the future, it was solved for my friend by having someone else host, I don't know if that'll work for everyone, but it worked for her.

When I was experiencing it, I searched pretty extensively and could not find a client side solution. Then one day, I logged back in and gave it another go, and the quest actually counted as finished. It was after the developers came back from their summer vacation, but there were never any patch notes to suggest they did something extra to fix it.

Part of the problem may be that once a player successfully gets past this mission script, they are unlikely to reset their account and do it again - if there is still a problem, only newer players will trip over it. So the vast majority of the community is past the point where this bug would impact them, reducing reporting.

Appreciate the kind offer but was able to get it sorted by running it solo, as apposed it in a group with others that had already completed the assignment as I had been before.
