insta enemy kill bug

i dont know what caused it and i realized it mid to late game
i was a gunner using an overclock bullet hell
first few games it was noticable weak damage but out of no where in a random game it suddenly became a 1 hit = kill even the larger enemies except there was no encounter with detonator or grypthic whatever dreadnaught so atleast it was fair not really it would be insane if i one shot them and it would look suspicious from other perspectives

idk they fall down a lot and get requested to revive them i not a single time and i think i was 70 lvl higher then them
but it was one time moment
i mean another rare bug is then you suddenly spawn like 1-5km over the miner drop pod then you join game in progress and slowly fall
edit: i should haved recorded the moment but OBS is a bit tricky for me to learn not speaking this gaming laptop probably would get slightly performance hit if i tried

If the host was doing really poorly that's honestly more evidence that they were hacking. Some people hack for kicks, others hack to make the game easier for themselves. One-shot kills are a textbook "make the game easier" hack. The only other scenario would have been if you accidentally joined a haz1 with critical weakness, but I'm assuming you probably would have noticed that.

it was in either haz3 or haz4 in ice egg collecting level with very large open space and atleast 50-60m also there was probably fall damage reduction maybe the host did cheat but why would someone cheat in a PVE left 4 dead red faction 1 a like game xD
edit: it would make more sense to see a cheater in online competitive game like csgo or these battle royale

it would make sense, but people cheat everywhere. People cheat in PvP to get an edge and beat the enemy team, and it's the same here (with the enemy team being the NPC aliens). Can't make it through a hazard 3 without dying constantly? Make all the enemies die instantly. Constantly running out of ammo? infinite ammo. Just want to feel like a god? All of the above.
