Bug: Discord Terminal ingame says I'm not in the Union
Hi folks, haven'T found anything about my issue when I searched for it. My game is connected with Discord since a couple of months. Never had any problems with it and could reclaim the prizes. But since 2 days the terminal says, that I'm not connected and I could connect if I want. But when I click yes, the internet explorer opens and whatever I do then, the game still says I'm not in the Union. Is this a known bug? Can anybody please help me on this. I already reinstalled Discord but nothing helped...

The unions were a pet project of a developer who no longer works at GSG anymore (or so I'm told) so the odds of this getting fixed or patched in any way are slim.

Same problem, union terminal doesn't recognize that discord is running.

Ditto. I've tried rejoining and relinking my steam profile in Discord to no avail.

same here. The terminal occasionally blips back to the info terminal before quickly reverting to the miner's union terminal... While it claims that there are 0 online and 0 total members. Even the employee of the month screen (which shows those numbers regardless) has this error (they will sometimes say "MISSION" instead of 0, which is weird). My guess? Something is wrong with the discord servers.

Bringing this up again because I'm experiencing this issue again after all these years (but only after the November Maintenance Update). The terminals show 0 players in Discord, so something isn't connecting. I have tried every single thing suggested online to get it fixed (showing as available in Steam, unmuting the Discord channel, connecting the game to Discord in the settings, etc.)

As a side note, can we please just move the Unions to an in-game thing, please? Having to use an external app that doesn't work half the time gives the game a bad image.
