Deep Rock Galactic
SLI Bug?
I've been running with SLI since I installed DRG and have never had any problems. The update installed yesterday and now there's graphic flickering like crazy. I can't get a screen shot of it because the screen shot always shows it looking normal. If I disable SLI, everything is fine, no flickering, nothing. But if I try to re-enable SLI, it returns.

I have a 32" 4k monitor and have been running the game at 1920x1080 with max fps, vsync on, and ultra everything, the same settings I've been using from day one. In game I've tried max resolution, lower fps to 60, and gotten no where. But, like I've said, if I disable SLI, everything's fine.

Is there anything that can be done to stop this? Has anyone else run into this with SLI?

Running 2 GTX 1080 with the latest drivers 436.30 installed

I also have SLI 2x980Ti's and I get flickering.

I also cant get a screenshot, my issue is its like the foreground aka everything rendered model wise flickers in and out leaving only the skybox visible every other frame. This creates this weird effect that lets me see both whats there and whats behind it every other frame.

Had no issues until this update which is a shame because it runs great in 4K SLi not so great on a single card.
I just played the game for the first time today and encountered this issue. It's not rendering all the models every single frame. Some models are rendered every frame and some aren't. So it is flickering wherever the models aren't always rendered. This also makes it possible to see through walls, depending on what is and is not rendered.

I was able to fix it by going into Nvidia Control Panel -> Manage 3D settings -> Program Settings tab -> Selecting Deep Rock Galactic from the drop down -> Change SLI rendering mode to "Force alternate frame rendering 1".

You'll need to restart the game if you had it open when you made the change.

Hopefully they fix this bug though, as most people aren't going to know to change their settings.

Thanks for this although it does come with a significant performance hit as far as I can tell, had to knock my res down to 1080p to get it running smooth, itl allow me to play though.
I am experiencing the flickering as well. 2 Titan X hydrocoppers. Only since the update.

That's pretty much what I get too when SLI is enabled. Glad I'm not alone.
Same here:
2 x GTX 1080 SLI and I never had a problem before (in update 24) with the SLI config.

yeah these screenshots are exactly what I am getting.
I can confirm that I am also experiencing the SLI bug.
I have the same issue, have to turn off SLI to get it to work, had no such issues before the Deep Dive update. so whatever they did there caused it
Hope they'll address this, kind of a pain the butt having to remember to disable sli for this game after playing a different game beforehand.

I agree as sli helps with framerate as well.
Damn!! There was a drivers update for my cards (436.48) today, got my hopes up for nothing.
It makes you wonder if the broken sli is caused by the graphics card driver or the game.
it worked for me until the update and I havent done any driver update since
