Guys when reporting an issue, it helps to let everyone know all the details about your rig. The frequency of the issue. What steps lead to the issue showing itself, is it consistently repeatable? What steps are needed to repeat the issue? etc.

In order to do any real troubleshooting testers need to know what you are working with and whether or not you are actually up to date with Windows and everything else. For all we know the issue is caused by some out of date driver or because you are not up to date on Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7, etc. In order to rule out every other possibility and really point it to the game as the issue... You gotta be up to date and you gotta post that info to help the devs get a clear picture of your issue so they can attempt to recreate it on a test machine using a setup similar to yours.
If you need help collecting this information let me know and I can provide a set of commands you can use to collect the required information.
What difficulty are you playing on?
Are you playing in Solo Mode when playing Solo?
Any difficulty mode past Hazard 3 is really meant only for teams of people. Even then, it will tough playing Hazard 3 solo if you aren't in solo mode with Bosco the Drone.
What class are you playing?
Point extractions are easiest with a scout class.
All missions for a solo player will be difficult if you aren't a Scout or Driller.
If you are say a Gunner or Engineer, you will have a tough time. Not to say it's not possible, it's just more difficult.
If you are playing solo, I recommend you don't.
I know the habit is to avoid people because modern gaming has taught us that people are trash but, I would urge you to fight against that instinct and give Deep Rock Galactic a chance. The game has an awesome community. Join people's game rooms and play with them.
Don't forget to Press Z to talk in the game room or to turn your mic off as soon as you join a game room. That is, if you have that bug a bunch of people are reporting.
My bad, drivers were a single release behind.
Yes, windows is up to date. Windows 10 version 10.0.18362
Steam validated files as fine.
Windows file check wasn't done, can do when PC not in use.
Intel Core i5-4670 stock speed
Nvidea GTX 760
16GB DDR3 RAM 1333 Mhz, 2x8gb
MSI H87-G43 Motherboard
Windows on a 120gb SSD with only 13gb free.
Game on a 3TB drive with 211gb free.
Yes, playing on solo mode with Bosco.
Mainly playing Engie or Gunner, but have played one of these as scout as well.
Playing solo because just chilling out and watching stuff while playing, do play multiplayer as well.
Wasn't really complaining about the difficulty, is still completable on the low difficulties I was playing at (provided I don't repeatedly fall to my death) was simply providing feedback that this one specific mission type felt like quite the jump in difficulty compared to the others.
Windows is more than likely compressing files and folders just to fit on the 120 GB SSD.
I highly recommend you clone that drive and move it to a larger drive. Then extend the volume on the drive to give Windows some space to expand and decompress files and folders.
Run the check and let us know what it turns up.
Yes. What are your temps like idling, that is sitting at the desktop doing nothing. Also, what are they like while you are playing Deep Rock after about 10-15 minutes?
You can use a program like MSI Afterburner to check.

A single release behind what?
What version of the drivers are you using?
Ex.
Driver Version: 436.30
Driver Type: DCH

To check you can pull up the Nvidia Control Panel and then select "Help" and then "System Information".
I don't understand how they can be more difficult than other missions though. You simply tell Bosco to go mine a section of wall that contains Aquarq and he follows you back to the platform, all the while holding the Aquarq he just mined for you. You can also use him to mine the Nitra out of the wall and then you just pick it up. It's actually much easier than doing that same type of mission with other players, albeit not as fun.
As a solo player try sticking to Hazard 2 / Hazard 1. You can complete a Hazard 3 but, it's much more challenging and if you are just spraying bullets and running your gun dry instead of saving it for Swarm attacks only, you will find yourself running out quickly. You will also find that there are far more bugs than ammo. Also, consider not wasting ammo when you have Bosco to do all the shooting for you. And don't forget, you have a perfectly good Pick Axe that never runs out of ammo. It's strong against the right types of enemies and you should use it, instead of your gun whenever you can to save ammo. It also helps to make sure you have all the Expanded Ammo Bag Perks for your guns.
While it's vastly more challenging to complete said mission type with those classes, you still have Bosco. You shouldn't have an issue what so ever and the Aquarq does spawn all over. Some high up and hard to get to, and a bunch on the ground where you can easily get access to it.
