Unable to call in supply drop

I've deposited 80+ Nitra, but I'm unable to call in a supply drop. I've already failed one mission because I ran out of ammo and this is really affecting my enjoyment of the game.

Edit: ragequit the mission because I ran out of ammo and some enemy was shooting at me from afar. Bosco was ignoring them.

At what point does it not work? Can you see the hologram when you press 5 or does nothing happen when press the left mouse button?

Or do you use a different key for the resupply pod?

Possible a rounding error (79.5 displaying as 80). Try to have at least 81 nitra with you.

Actually, I had 163 Nitra deposited. I haven't rebinded my keys. When I press 5, nothing happens. No hologram, just nothing.

Make sure the placement hologram is blue. If it isn't, the supply drop cannot be placed.

check your keybinds, restore them to default and try again with the '5 key' again. try joining a multiplayer mission, see if it happens there or only in solo. try defaulting your keys in multiplayer too. change the droppod key to something different in solo mission and try calling it with that key. do the same in multiplayer too. write down everything you happens or doesn't happen when should and write a bug report to the devs if the problem persist. also you can try posting it here too, but obv devs know how the game works exactly, but so far from what you wrote its impossible to recreate your issue, try to pinpoint what causes it.

also bosco only attacks enemies near to you, unless you send him directly after a target by pinging it with alt+left click. if you tried that but he didn't do it thats another bugreport for the devs.

I didn't change my keybindings at all. This is with the defaults
ninja edit: I also had no idea I could have Bosco do that. Wouldn't have helped. It was an enemy that teleported around

Config files and keybinds sometimes might get scrambled even if you didn't change them as the game opens reads and even can change it. maybe once it didn't save properly or the reasons can be numerous, especially after an update where devs might have changed something in the game or the files. by restoring to default you force the game to recreate the config for the keybinds from inside the game archives, which is sure to work. if this doesn't solve your problem, then by changing it to an another key might make it work for reasons i am not even completly sure why, but it tend to work. you can try changing it back afterwards to see if it now works with the key 5 too. my point is, mess around with the key bindings, try it changing to something else, try to restore it to default. you can't repair a car either just by looking at the non-running engine and trying to figure out why it does not run, you have to tweak it and take it apart.

I've never played the game until 2-3 days ago and after what I experienced, I don't intend on any time soon. An update causing this is out of the question, as my game never updated.

Keys being rebindable is news to me; the controls screen doesn't communicate that fact at all.

It's in the options menu at the lower harlf of controls tab, as well as the reset button on top. the controls menu is there for a sorts of quick guide i guess also its where you can prolly see the gamepad/console controls if you are using those instead of keyboard and mouse. I for one haven't heard about a PC game in the past 10 years at least where you couldn't customise controls, as it is one of the most fundamental things in pc games, and the first thing i, for one, change.

the latest updated dropped 5 days ago on friday, Guess you came right after that, still there could be some corrupted files on your install of the game, as i haven't heard anyone with the same issue, nor did i ran into it myself, even tho I played dozens of hours in the past weeks. as for the game's state, well its in early access, bugs are totally expactable from it, but by the looks of things, the problem you ran into is not even that serious based on the little information you provided and could be likely solved quickly, but whatever floats your goat i guess. I tried to help the best i can, take it or leave it.

After going through the keybindings, none of the Items 1 to 4 or 'Order Resupply' had proper keybinds. It did say stuff like '1' or '5' but they did not work, regardless of which number I pressed on my keyboard.

It being in early access is no excuse. If you're charging money for something, it should at least work. Default controls being half-broken looks bad.

Not really fair to blame the game for something borked on your end.

Hardware specific problems do happen, what kind of keyboard is it? Have you had any luck rebinding the controls?

What keyboard are you using? I would suggest trying a different keyboard.

I fixed the issue by manually rebinding the keys that didn't work. Defaults didn't work at all.
