Need a save editor to skip the grind this season.

I am bored of grinding through this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ season with all the annoying bugs, I have not touched the game in around a month and it is not going to change until the next season where good things are added.

I want to essentially just get the cool cosmetics on the tree without wasting my time, I would not make this post if only Ghost ship gaming would not make such a ♥♥♥♥ season.

Another word of warning: Using this can (and will - yes we tested it) cause bugs with other systems in the game - In particular the reward systems.

If you have used this save game editor (or similar stuff online save editors) please do not bother reporting any bugs you encounter in the game to us!

What you do with your save is your choice, but we can't (and honestly don't want to) fix it if what you did messed it up.

As it is we spend way to much time trying to track down bugs caused by save game editing / dealing with frustrated players that do not realize that the bug they're experiencing are caused by them editing their save months before.

And that's pretty frustrating for us, as we'd much rather spend time on fixing bugs we're responsible for/ we actually can fix and developing new features.

Missing a weapon skin during the 30-60 hour grind now means you're looking at an average of 500 hours before you see it again. Up to a thousand or so if you're unlucky.
At least, from a newer player perspective.

I got to about 800 hours before i stopped getting cosmetics, so their loss if they wanna put all them goodies in the R'N'G bank.

the point being made here is not "save editors are buggy" but rather that, in using a save editor, you are manipulating your save file in a way that makes all of your save data and bug reports completely useless to the devs. which is not something most people consider when using save editors

you have every right to do what you want with the game you paid for, but if you ever have any issues with your game, you won't get to complain about them because third-party alterations have been made to your save file which GSG have no knowledge of. and quite frankly, they shouldn't be expected to clean up the mess made by hackers

it's not like modding where you can just disable any external code and revert to a neutral state. save editing is a permanent, irrevokable decision. this is something that %99 of people who use save editors never think of, and i suspect it was what ittrix was trying to communicate to you as well

quite frankly it's not worth the risk. i wouldn't permanently disbar myself from being able to make bug reports just to get access to a few cheap, ugly hats

also worth noting that asking for save editors is a bannable offense on the steam forums. i personally don't care so im not gonna report but someone else likely will. idk if it's too late to delete your thread, but if it isn't i would consider it

IF you do go this route, it would be safer than editing your save and mussing it up

I mean, if you've already unlocked all of the other cosmetics in the game, just wait for the season to end. Your crate/pack pool will go from 0 to like 12. It might honestly be faster to get them that way than playing the season.

Can you not just go to a Sandbox save, use busted mods to 100% the game within days, then copy/paste your Sandbox save into a Verified saves folder? I'm not sure how these things work, so don't take this for advice. Just seems like there are easier ways to get around this.

There's also a verified mod that disables Season 4, you can still get most of the stuff by just leveling up through the season pass by playing the game naturally. You'll have to interact with the season for a bit to get some scrip, tho.
