Gas Recycling OC or Cryo Minelets OC with Accuracy and Pierce mods would be your best crowd control/kill builds.
Can do a budget version with Minimal Magazines OC or Custom Casings OC for more well-rounded experiences.
Embedded detonators also works except they're a huge pain to use against groups so don't do that.
Thanks
Why go accuracy if you are going to use them point blank for crowd control? T3 damage seems better.
On the other hand, a lower base spread means that you will land more hits, which counteracts the penalty from Gas Recycling.
with an m1k zhukovs are better sicne they are better for stragglers
with the gk2 or drak the boomsticks burst damage would probably be more useful
im not sure why people keep insisting that M1K and zhukovs need to be paired with one another. i feel like it's just a comfort thing because zhukovs are automatic. but the reality is you can use M1K and boomstick together just fine. you could even use M1K and boltshark together - M1K benefits a lot from taser, cryo and/or bodkin bolts
the reality is boomstick is, and always will be, the superior waveclear option due to 3x blowthru and blast wave
i don't get why people only use boomstick for single target and zhuks for waveclear, it should be the other way around. i hate the zhuks but they literally have a baseline weakspot modifier, they're meant for single target
Cryo Minelets - A really good OC /w blowthrough but if running the M1k I'd personally only recommend it when running in teams or /w a Hipster build. Frozen targets take considerably more damage, but you don't want to be wasting M1k rounds shattering frozen bugs, and the Minelet build has a negative damage modifier so it's kind of a waste to use it to clean off the frozen bugs. Best to just freeze lock enemies for the rest of the team, or to be able to move off for other objectives.
Gas Recycling - This OC turns the Zuks into trash cleanup, working well with blowthrough. Just hose them down at close range. Not my favoriite build because I find it just burns through ammo.
Explosive Detonators - Contrary to an earlier post, it is quite good for cleaning up trash while still useful for single-target opportunities. When facing a wave you just want to spray across the group then trigger the explosions. Like a NTP gunner, you have to break the instinct of wanting to shoot bugs 'til their dead.
Custom Casings + Conductive Bullets + Boomerangs - This is honestly becoming one of my favorite wave clear Zuk builds combined with Better Weight Balance and Hollow Point. It works well on groups and single target. Instead of just spraying down groups, you lead with a Boomerang to shock-lock much of the group. The Zuks have massive clip capacity so you can just prioritize targets as you see fit. It can absolutely murder HVTs as well with the combination of bonus damage and +45% weakpoint. Mouth shots on approaching zapped and unzapped trash are similarly modified, and Wardens get erased if they get caught by the Boomerang, even at moderate range it's easy to hit them. With 8 boomerangs, and the generous shock duration, this build can clean up.
