Dunno, I'd wait until people have actually played the different OCs for like a few weeks before voicing an opinion.... (Or better, trying them all and coming to your own conclusions??)

Yes, as you both touched on, I think tier lists will take some time. I'd love to see a good tier list from the community.

Don't take Tier list as pure fact, nor should you base your entire loadouts on the tiers.
Just tinker around with everything you have and see what you like.
Treat tier lists as other people's opinions or for novelty.

Some people DO test things in order to rank it.

Rather than tier lists id reccomend just looking at builds if youre struggling and going off of what you find fun rather than what is s tier. You can reasonably run and make work any OC in the game on Haz 5 so unless youre doing modded difficulties or Haz 5+ maxxed out, which both mess up the balance, you shouldn't worry too much.

Tierlists are junk food at the end of the day. It’s a top 5 list, but with a soggy middle section that no one agrees on.

I know the Lok1 new OC is terrible. It needs additional ammo or damage to justify not being able to easily hit weakpoints.

I absolutely agree that they are junk food. Tier lists are good when you have a lot of things to rank, and or you want to compare the power level of several things. other than that I find their lists are absolutely overused. However, a good and well made tier list is something that can be made, and made well. Personally I just miss regular lists. No A tier c tier or other ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, just 1 2 3 4 and 5 this is better than the other simple as.

this video, for example, is an example of where a tier list is unnecessary. There are ten shotgun weapons in new vegas, and because it's an RPG some are designed to be terrible for the early game while others are best in mid game and the best weapons are in the late game. You don't need a tier list here. Of course the riot shotgun is better than the single shotgun who would've guessed? This video could've been turned into a regular ranking list and loose nothing. Hell, I'd say it would be better because oh my goodness this guy does a lot of tier lists. (nothing wrong with him at all, I just thing its a bit much)

Here is a video that *could've* been a tier list but isn't, and I'm happy that it isn't. It's four hours long, it's well researched, well made, and deosn't need any of that S tier F teir ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. This hero is better than that hero. Plain and simple.

Honestly I think I'm just tired of tier lists so having an oppurtunity to sharfe my thoughts with strangers online forum on a topic that isn't hurting anyone is strangely cathartic.

This one was the 2nd one I unlocked, and I really, really like it personally. I've never enjoyed the Cryo damage builds, about the only build I've run for any period has been a fast freeze with Tuned Cooler. I now have a 2nd Cryo spot which is a damage build with the new sticky freeze OC and been loving it.

I'm not a meta slave, but I've used similar builds for years. That's why I wanted to play with epic, magnificent and extraordinarily different build suggestions. I think there are so many wonderful builds that we don't know about.

I currently have many different overclocks and I'm wondering how they can be best used. What I mean is a tier list like this:

It gives both usage style and a layer list. He also explains why you can use it this way. The video is a bit old and before the update. That's why I opened this topic because I thought it would be great to experiment with an updated tier list.

And yes, I agree, tier lists feel more like junk food. However, I still think it can be a source of inspiration for builds you don't know about. Also, since I'm playing at level 5, I can see the effects better now.
