Fo sho. I tend to play solo when my friends aren't on but the times i've had played with randoms they were great.

Yes, I essentially only play with randoms, and have had very few issues (as in, count them on one hand) over the course of 500+ hours.

Not only worth playing "without friends" but you'll actually make friends if you're somewhat social. Strike up a convo, or ask if you can add someone you've played a full assignment with if they seem friendly, then just hop on whenever they're playing.

Yes. I have only played with random players in 115 hours of gameplay. Also, there are some achievements for playing solo anyways with your robot companion as well.

Yes. Teamwork is intuitive, most randos are friendly, and the game is built around PUG-level difficulty.

game’s fine with randoms and better with friends, especially if you can coordinate and learn together, but as with any game that has a pub ecosystem, be ready to butt heads with some bad eggs every now and then.
If your connection is fast and stable, there is effectively no downside to hosting and you can deal with those situations as you see fit.

Well, it kinda depends. There are quite a lot of bad players around, kicking in the middle of a long mission with no reason, asking for lvl 100 in a normal deep dive, and people pushing every button whenever they see it.. Better play with friends, but if not possible it is fine in most of cases.

I played first at random lobbies all the time and no problem. Then i found a local community to play with. Check out DRG discord to find the localized channels, i think it improved the gameplay about Karl %
