Switching hosts doesn't work and the issue affects us all.
Other p2p games we play also have not suffered these issues, so it feels isolated to DRG..
And yes, we are all wired and on low latency, high speed service with consistent ping.
Seems like the first step would be to add more logging. If they added an option to submit your log to them after a round or after you get disconnected, that might help. Last I checked, they're expecting people to fill out a bug ticket on Discord which is off-putting.
If you are getting ping spikes try hitting esc when they happen and looking at other's ping. If only you have bad ping it's something on your end. If everyone else also has bad ping it's the host, probably hosting on wifi or bad internet
Yup, but its more fun to be ignorant and spin up a million of these worthless threads.
i feel like this is due to however the game is setup to run multiplayer. its clearly not pure p2p. it seems like the heavier the player load is the more the issue is occuring.
in the old days i could run as high as 200ms before i had any lag issues and even then it was manageable.
