Playing offline?
I think the question is obvious, is it possible to play the game offline?

- I Load into DRG as Normal, Online, Connected to the Internet
-Once I Load in fully I check the Weekly Assignment Area to make sure there is
the Timer Countdown going to check that I Connected in Properly
-After that I Pause, hit the Windows Symbol Thingy which brings up my Desktop Toolbar
-Disconnect from the Internet
-Then Go back into DRG and Play Offline

You have to Log On as Normal with the Internet On to Sync Up and Load all your Save Progress and Equipment- Once you do the Above Steps and Disconnect you can then Play DRG as you regularly would for as Long as you want- When you decide to End/Quit Out you don't need to Reconnect, somehow the Steam Cloud magically saves everything, but I will Reconnect a few minutes Later just to make sure Steam Syncs everything up again, but
I have also just came back a Day Later and Steam Syncs Up my DRG Data when I next
Load into the Game

Now if you Fully have No Connection and Log In to Play, sometimes that still works, but sometimes your Save Progress and Equipment won't be there and you'll be at Level 1 - Also the few times I did 3-5 Missions over a Sitting and then the Game had None of that Progress Saved the Next Day was when I Logged In Offline Fully, my Equipment was all there, but that telltale timer said "Servers Not Available" instead of the '4:28:39' Counter or whatever the numbers are at- So I always Sign In Online, then Go Offline and Play

You can Test your System Out with say, a single 4 Egg Hunt Mission, Exit Out, and see if your Progress Resyncs and has been Saved doing it all Completely Offline, maybe your Computer works better than mine, but I believe you need to Sync Up with the Steam Cloud at some point to guarantee every bit of your Progress was indeed Saved

Sorry all that description was Long, but Like I said, the "Offline" situation is Semi-Tricky,
at Least it is for Me, but I have a routine down at this point

Yes, you can bring Bosco with you as support. That being said you can't use mods offline.

Yes but you will have to log into steam (online) once in a while if you want to backup your saved files to the steam cloud. If you care about backups...
Also if this question if for going completely off the grid and still being able to game (like on vacation), keep in mind that you need to set up your steam account to go offline before you plug the cable out. Steam can remember your password and accept you going offline, but you have to have done that beforehand.

ive played this with my wifi out and still progressed in the performance pass as normal.

evidently, the game can be run and progressed in entirely locally, without issue.

game was designed to have no server checks for base game, and had no 3rd party server.
It has all base functions working in steam offline mode.
just save your steam client credentials locally and you will be able to start game even with no internet connection.

you will only miss 100% community bound functions:
- server list of other hosted games (obviously)
- discord integration
- Miner union common tasks and payments
- deep dive and elite deep dive ( as the seed is distributed by small steam-hosted server)

and now please someone correct me:
- after last update mods did not load in offline mode at all, as they had gotten UGLIEST 3rd party server checks. was it fixed? do mods load in offline mode? Or mods will stop working forever the moment mod.io is closed?
