How to promote?

I'd say I'm fairly decently into the "noob" part of the game maybe even beyond the starter stuff now since I'm on my 5th assignment now and did a few of the season unlocks.

I don't really want to "google" the information because doing so...feels so boring and blah and stuff I'd like to keep game knowledge within these forums if possible. The minute I have to go outside of the game or game forums to read on something...my brain just kinda loses interest in all of it...and half the time I even forget what I was searching for in the first place lol.

I'm an INTJ (Meyers-Briggs system) and as such I'm an introvert and I do long explanations like this to give others similar contextual information so they can help form their own thoughts and shtuff.

More shtuff to follow maybe with followup answers.

Reach level 25 on a dwarf. Select the promotion assignment from the assignment terminal. Complete the assignment, then head to the memorial hall to find another terminal in there to complete the promotion.

Adding on to this: make sure you select the specific assignment mission on the Missions terminal ( it will be marked by a pulsing, white-ish diamond-like symbol ).

You're still a newb if you haven't even reached a single promotion yet.

A noob is someone who acts like they know a lot and/or has very substantial playtime but are awful/wrong about the game.

When one of your classes hits 25 you'll be given an assignment to promote them. You do the assignments then goto the Memorial Hall in the upper left part of the rig. (Just head left from spawn room, up elevator, follow hall, goto terminal on the far side with the view).

It is highly recommended to use other classes not level 25 as and dwarf that's level 25 will waste exp. But unless you care about the sparkly rank one promotion on each dwarf is all you actually need for overclocks. The rest is fluff.
