Where are the large meteors?

Back when I played season 3, it was not uncommon to get 2 meteor strikes in one mission (the famous "one large meteor in each power station room" for example), but now I only ever see 1 meteor strike every 3 missions, and I almost never see large meteors (both when playing on season 3 and 4).

Where are my large meteors? The whole reason I play on season 3 and 4 now is because I want to be bombarded by large meteors and I never see them.

Only do missions on the red zones, don't play missions with Lithophage Outbreak. This is how you get a 33% chance for big meteors / corrupters to spawn.

I think it should have been better communicated by the game during season 3-4 that this was the case

also it's just kind of weird in general? why would the season specific mutator also prevent other season-related events from spawning, but only some of them since small meteors can still happen

I've been playing with a friend who switched to S4 after clearing S5, so I can assure you the double large meteors are still in the game.
