Earth would be "Sol III", for instance. Whatever is on the other planets, the corporation doesn't particularly want the Miners thinking about it.
But...the stars name is Creus?
Karl excavated them all. By himself.
But the stars name is Creus, not Hoxxes!
Why would the solar system not be named after the star at its center?
For example, the Earth is in the Sol System; Sol being the Latin name for the Sun.
Where are they inhabitated?
That and it's likely they just didn't know enough to properly name the planets, like most media.
Well we don't call it Earth III like they do with Hoxxes IV, that makes no sense. You don't put numbers in a planet's proper name, if it has one - hell you don't even use numbers at all when naming exoplanets like Hoxxes. It is always the name of the star, followed by a lower case letter in the alphabet in order of how close the planet is, skipping lower case 'a'. So in reality Earth would be called Sol d.
So if Hoxxes was the fourth planet (and the star was actually named Hoxxes) it should be 'Hoxxes e' instead.
